Everybody knows presentations driven by small wireless control devices, pushing a button and slides go forward or backwards. My friends at stereolize always look for a more performance based interface and therefore we setup an interface which requires active body movement and visible interaction with the projection.

A slider was tided to the presenters position, automatically selecting options at the screen. In addition, big buttons at the screen could be pressed to move forward in the presentation or start specific content such as movies. you can imagine that initially some presenters had concerns regarding the stability of this interface but we convinced everybody within seconds. there was not one glitch throughout the whole cebit and we are sure to keep developing this idea futher.

quite an exciting short project of summer 2007. tim and many helping hands built this weird wing-screen out of thousands of tubes. both side were then covered with translucent paper. the resulting effect is amazing, boring projection become automatically pixelated, but totally different to a digital effect. this screen glows, moves and adds depth to the visuals. it looks almost like a thousand bulbs next to each other.wirmachenbunt provided the seamless projection system, consisting of 4 projectors and 3 computers. two of the PC’s ( vvvv ) were doing geometry correction, splitting the video image and softedges…to create the impression of one big screen. the third computer was running an easy to use VJ application to feed the system with moving images.

The performance ICH² combines dance and media art with complex content and attractive use of cross-media. Art and technology synergetically combine to a creative game on duplication and variation. ICH² is merging the components into a hybrid amalgamation, which creates a digital space of possibilities, which is not only reflecting the perspectives of genetechnology, but offers the visitor a new space for experience.

An intruiging atmosphere is created by the interaction between stage and the projection onto the dome. A unique installation for an extra-ordinary space: a planetarium including a 360 degrees moving image projection. State-of-the-art projection technology is merging with dance theatre and interactive media into a fascinating wholesome piece of art, is modifying it and allowing a completely new kind of production: dancer and media together create an artistic space that involves the audience in a new way. The impact of the imagery and the intensively short proximity of the performers, forms a high level of immersion.

The Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts was asked to design an exhibition for the IFM Geomar Marine Science Institute based in Kiel. Putting the emphasis on creating a certain mood rather than bombarding people with information, worked quite well. We made everything, from interior design, print media, interactive installations to the first facade projection in Kiel.wirmachenbunt supplied projection know-how and the interactive floor installation autonomous agents.
The exhibition was open for the first time during the ‘Re-union Day’ festivity 2007 and we counted about 4800 people visiting our exhibition within 2 days.
