quite an exciting short project of summer 2007. tim and many helping hands built this weird wing-screen out of thousands of tubes. both side were then covered with translucent paper. the resulting effect is amazing, boring projection become automatically pixelated, but totally different to a digital effect. this screen glows, moves and adds depth to the visuals. it looks almost like a thousand bulbs next to each other.

wirmachenbunt provided the seamless projection system, consisting of 4 projectors and 3 computers. two of the PC’s ( vvvv ) were doing geometry correction, splitting the video image and softedges…to create the impression of one big screen. the third computer was running an easy to use VJ application to feed the system with moving images.
