A rotating screen shows the live image of an engine.

By sensing the screen postion and respecting the camera optics, realtime 3D content is layered on top of the live image. Creating the impression of an xray view, revealing the inner workings of a combustion engine.

Next to the rotating screen is a monolithic display for distant effects. It functions pretty much as the traditional print to communicate engine features in a rather unseen format. This exhibit was first shown at the Paris motor show 2016 and more versions and engines (hybrids) will follow in 2017.
